Email Service Providers

Deliver Articles to Your Customers 

MailChimp is a great option because they are Free up to 2,000 subscribers. So if you’re looking to just get your feet wet, MailChimp is probably your best bet.

The only thing about MailChimp is that I find it a bit cumbersome and confusing.

ActiveCampaign is my go to email service provider. I’ve used a lot of other ones and they provide the best mix of features with ease-of-use. Their platform can do anything you’d ever want it to do but at the same time it’s intuitive and the user interface is awesome!

ConvertKit is extremely user friendly and has loads of features. You’ll be able to continue to use ConvertKit even if your email list gets very large. It has the capacity to handle large complex tasks while still being easy to use.

Automate it

Social Media Schedulers 

I don’t personally use HootSuite but I’ve heard good things. It allows you to automate and schedule your social media posts.

I personally use Meet Edgar for all of my social media posting. The reason I choose Edgar is because it allows you to recycle content easily. The vast majority of your followers are going to miss your posts so Edgar makes it easier to share them again. Highly recommended! Works for Facebook, LinkedIn, & Twitter.

Buffer is another social media scheduler. I also haven’t used this one but reviews are positive and it seems like a good option.


Content Writing Tools

Headline Analyzer

Enter your headline to get an analysis on how good it is. 

Hemingway Editor

This free tool is great to help with the readability of your content. Just copy & paste your article and it will give you a readability grade along with some suggestions of how to improve it.


Grammerly specifically helps with the grammer of your writing. So it looks for errors like typos, clarity, meaning, etc. 

Call-to-Action Tools


I’ve fallen in love with Typeform! They make it easy to build absolutely stunning online forms. These aren’t your average, boring forms. These are beautiful! I use them for all of my calls-to-action that need a form like a “Refer a Friend” button.

Social Media Tools


I use TweetDeck pretty regularly. It makes it easy to stay on top of mentions, comments, etc. in your Twitter feed. 

Google Alerts

Get an email alerting you every time someone on the internet talks about you, your business, or uses keywords you want to track. 


This tool allows you to track mentions of you, your business, or key phrases across multiple platforms (Instagram, Twitter, blogs, etc.). That way you can jump in real time and have conversations to build relationships with your audience. It’s a pretty essential and useful tool for most companies.


Moz is similar to Mention in that it allows you to track whenever someone is talking about you or your business. That way you can jump in on the conversation to develop relationships with your audience.

Deposit Photos

Purchase beautiful royalty-free images to use on your website or social media.

Canva – Design Maker

This is what I use for the majority of the graphics on my website and social media. It’s a good mix of simplicity and functionality.

Meme Generator

Everything you need to make that perfect meme. Use one of their images or upload your own. Great for social media posts! This is a meme if you don’t know…

Pablo Social Media Image Creator

Super simple and elegant way to make beautiful photos for your social media posts.

Giphy – Search Millions of .gifs

.gifs are great for social media to attract attention and add some fun to it. I even use them in my blog posts to break up the endless text. Giphy will have the perfect .gif you’re looking for. Plus you can even make your own!

Turn Any Youtube Video into a .gif

This is such a handy tip! just add gif to the front of the url of the YouTube video you want to convert into a gif. For example: becomes

Reaction .gifs

This is a great website for finding just the right .gif based on the emotion or reaction you want it to convey

Infogram – Make Infographics and Charts

Super easy way to create infographics (great for Pinterest) or even charts, and maps!

Word Swag App

Make text, words, and quotes into beautiful images to share on social media.
